Outside of the Kingdom of God, Jesus had more to say about money than any other single topic. He made it a priority because He knew that a person's heart resides with his or her treasures. Put your treasures into the vulnerable stuff of this world, Jesus said, and you will rust and corrode over with time. Put your treasures into heaven, He added, and you will receive a reward that lasts for all of eternity. You can break the chains of greed through the act of giving. Everyday, do what it takes to ensure that money is not your master.
