How would you tell a wealthy person what God thinks of his or her wealth? Following what is contained in James 4:13-5:6, there are three possible points to bring out: Exhale, beware and do good. Exhale, because the Christian faith is not anti-earning or anti-commerce. Beware, because wealth can cause a false sense of security, it can desensitize one to the needs of others, or it can lead to self-indulgence. Do good, because, indeed, money can do good if it is given away in a strategic manner by those with transformed hearts and minds.
