In this comical sketch, four people attend church for a missions emphasis service. The first is a seeker. He is cynical, here is the church, as always, with its hand out for money. The second is a "regular". He doesn't think its worthwhile to waste a whole service on the needs of others. The third is a woman plagued by guilt. She hates this service because of how she can't say no to needy people, and feels terrible when they show slides of starving children. The last is a man glad for the inspiration the service will bring. But when he contemplates how much he can give, he skimps because he has to buy dog food on his way home. He can't let his dog go hungry, can he? (This sketch is very similar in style and approach to The Offering, (9224) but focuses on missions.)
