Two adult sisters are making plans for the weekend. Kim, the younger, is hoping to go skiing and take in a concert. Ellen can't believe Kim is going to spend what little money she has so impulsively. Kim has never handled money well, and still lives with her parents. But the news gets worse: their parents just found out they're going to have to move because the bank is foreclosing. Dad borrowed for everything, and now with his forced retirement, he can't keep up the payments. Kim feels bad for the fact Mom and Dad never planned on moving out—Ellen knows it's because they never planned.
