course. In the budget section, it would be a good idea to add an area specifically for Pets.
I know that for us, and more so for friends/coworkers of ours, pets can
be a HUGE expense, similar to the "gifts" section - which is a big
eye-opener when you see that for the first time.
If you have pets, you know what I mean. Simply start adding up the food, vet bills, toys, beds, outfits? (Hey I don't, but some people do!), ... [ more >> ] |

I got some of the typical responses (rent a car, book a airline ticket, reserve a hotel room, etc.) but one woman said, "Well, in a pinch they work well as an ice scrapper for your windshield!"... Fellow Good $ense teachers and trainers, are you running out of people at your church that haven’t experienced a Good $ense workshop? We keep our ears open as we meet with people in various organizations listening for felt needs in the financial/stewardship arena. Several months back we ate lunch with a woman that runs a prison ministry in Atlanta GA and sensed such a need. We explained Good $ense to her and volunteered to teach if she would open doors for us.

by Al Rossi (Bethel Fellowship - Philadelphia, PA)| | These documents were used for a class we offered at Bethel last fall. Its purpose was to help people avoid overdoing it at Christmas. My partner, Frank Viola, in the Good $ense Ministry at Bethel developed it and taught it. The "zipped" folder contains four files, as follows:
- Word document (Cash Crunch Intro) - one-page intro used for promotion
- Word document (The Christmas Cash Crunch) - facilitator's note book
